About
Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REU) at the Nanotechnology Collaborative Infrastructure Southwest (NCI-SW) at ASU is a stimulating nine-week summer research program for undergraduates from accredited community colleges and universities. As the southwest regional hub of the National Nanotechnology Coordinated Infrastructure (NNCI), the NCI-SW will offer REU participants the opportunity to work with nationally recognized scholars in micro- and nanoscale research and leaders in science education. For synergistic reasons, projects will emphasize advanced solar energy research since the program will run in parallel with another REU focused on this exciting topic.

  • Explore the world of the very small in a variety of state-of-the-art laboratories
  • Conduct research with the nation’s top nanotechnology scientists
  • Gain new skills and valuable experience
  • Establish long-term relationships with faculty, staff and graduate students

Arizona Game and Fish Department Summer Internships - Deadline 2/9/2018

The application period for Arizona Game and Fish Department summer internships is now open.  Applications are accepted through 2/9/18.

Attached is a listing of the opportunities that are available this summer and a copy of the announcement



Eligibility requirements

• Currently enrolled in curriculum leading towards a Bachelor’s or higher level degree on a full time basis (usually 12 semester hours) and pursuing a major in Wildlife Biology or closely related field applicable to the internship opportunity (subject to verification)

• Proof of eligibility to work in the United States

• Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or above

• Ability to pass a post-offer physical exam (if applicable)                 

• Valid driver's license (free of restrictions, if applicable)



Application & Selection Process

·        Eligible students interested in summer employment must apply through www.azstatejobs.gov.  Click “Search for Jobs” and select “Game and Fish Department” from the agency dropdown. 

·        Students must submit a cover letter and resume in one document when applying.

·        Students must outline in their cover letter, by priority order and by hiring supervisor name, the internships they choose to apply for.  Students may select up to five internships to apply for.

·        Students must attach unofficial transcripts of college coursework.

·         Resumes must be submitted to the site no later than close date.   





The anticipated start date for a majority of the internships is May 21, 2018.
