The TraIN scholarship project funds academically talented, low-income transfer students who are pursuing a STEM degree at ASU’s New College located at the ASU West Valley campus (list of New College degrees here). The scholarship is worth $10,000/year! Our application deadline is approaching on March 1st, and so we want to open our doors to welcome prospective students (and any faculty or staff members at your institution who work with these students!!).
Please join us for our annual TraIN Mixer on Friday, Feb. 16th from 4:30 – 6:15 PM. It’s a great opportunity to meet other TraIN scholars and faculty members in our School. The sign up form is here: https://forms.gle/bVz2DKNHnEveUnSk8.
To apply to the scholarship, you must apply to ASU (New College of Interdisciplinary Arts & Sciences) first. You do not have to be accepted yet to apply, but you cannot access the scholarship portal until you have applied. Here’s the link to the scholarship page: https://scholarships.asu.edu/scholarship/91946.
After the mixer on Feb. 16th, the Barbie movie is showing on the central lawn area for free as part of our monthly Movies on the Lawn series – bring friends/family and you can make your visit into a fun night!
